HELLO WORLD, MY NAME IS ERIC

I was born in Opelika, AL. During my early childhood, I lived in Tuskegee, AL before I moved to Opelika. I always had a passion for technology and helping others. I played basketball all my life and was fortunate enough to play my first two years of college. I played my first two years at Southern Union CC while receiving my education. After my two years, I transferred to the University of South Alabama where I pursued a degree in Information Technology (IT). I was also involved in many organizations such as Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc, NSBE(National Society of Black Engineers), NAACP(National Association of Advancement of Colored People), and AASA(African-American Student Association).

After I graduated in 2016, I landed my first full-time job as a Software Engineer in Orlando, FL. Ever since I started working, I became enthused with traveling, investing, and how I can transfer my knowledge down to the next generation. What inspired me to create this blog was to give back by sharing experiences and knowledge that can benefit today’s society . The name “Aspire to Inspire Uplifting Blog” came from a good friend that passed away in 2018. His name was Ru Buchanan. He highly impacted people every where he went and his favorite quote was “Aspire to Inspire before you Expire.” I want this blog to be all about the people. Sharing knowledge, and personal experiences to help impact lives daily is the goal of this blog creation. The categories that this blog will cover will be limitless. Let’s change the world day by day
